EMPLOYMENT, EDUCATION AND TRAINING ACT 1988 No. 80 of 1988 - SECT 65

65. (1) In this Part:

"commencement day" means the day on which this Act commences;

"defunct body" means:

   (a)  the Commonwealth Schools Commission established by section 4 of the
        Commonwealth Schools Commission Act 1973;

   (b)  the Curriculum Development Council established by section 14B of the
        Commonwealth Schools Commission Act 1973; or

   (c)  the Commonwealth Tertiary Education Commission established by section
        6 of the Commonwealth Tertiary Education Commission Act 1977.

(2) Any reference in this Part to one of the Acts repealed by section 68 is a
reference to that Act as amended and in force immediately before the
commencement day.
