EMPLOYMENT, EDUCATION AND TRAINING ACT 1988 No. 80 of 1988 - SECT 61

61. (1) The Board or a Council may request the Department, in writing, to
furnish to it information specified in the request, being information that the
Board or the Council reasonably requires for the proper performance of its
functions and believes to be in the possession, or under the control, of the
Department.

(2) Where:

   (a)  the Department refuses or fails to furnish to the Board or a Council,
        within a reasonable time, information that it has been requested to
        furnish under subsection (1); and

   (b)  the Board or the Council is of the opinion that the refusal or failure
        is unreasonable; the Board or the Council may report the refusal or
        failure to the Minister.

(3) The Minister shall cause a copy of a report received by him or her under
subsection (2) to be laid before each House of the Parliament within 15
sitting days of the House after the day on which the Minister received the
report.
