EMPLOYMENT, EDUCATION AND TRAINING ACT 1988 No. 80 of 1988 - SECT 52

52. (1) The Minister may grant financial assistance to a person, body or
institution or to a State for the purpose of enabling the grantee to carry out
an innovative or curriculum project approved by the Minister under section 51.

(2) Where the Minister makes a grant of financial assistance under this
section, the Minister shall:

   (a)  determine the amount of the grant or the manner in which that amount
        may be ascertained;

   (b)  determine:

        (i)    whether the amount of the grant shall be paid in a lump sum or
               by instalments; and

        (ii)   the time at which the lump sum or each instalment, as the case
               may be, is to be paid; and

   (c)  specify the terms and conditions (if any) subject to which the grant
        is made.
