EMPLOYMENT, EDUCATION AND TRAINING ACT 1988 No. 80 of 1988 - SECT 46

46. (1) The Secretary may, in relation to his or her membership of the
Consultative Committee, appoint persons to be substitutes for him or her.

(2) The Minister, or State Minister, who appointed a member of the
Consultative Committee may appoint other persons to be substitutes for that
member.

(3) A person appointed to be a substitute for a member of the Consultative
Committee may be authorised:

   (a)  to replace the member at any meeting of the Consultative Committee or
        at such meetings of the Committee as are specified in the instrument
        of appointment; and

   (b)  to exercise, at any meeting at which the person is authorised to
        replace the member, the rights of the member in relation to all
        matters raised at the meeting or in relation to such matters as are
        specified in the instrument of appointment.
