ELECTORAL AND REFERENDUM AMENDMENT ACT 1991 No. 167 of 1991 - SECT 2

2. (1) Subject to this section, the provisions of this Act commence on a day
or days to be fixed by Proclamation.

(2) Sections 1, 2, 3, 33 and 44 commence on the day on which this Act receives
the Royal Assent.

(3) Section 45 is to be taken to have commenced on 30 September 1990.

(4) If a provision of this Act, other than a provision referred to in
subsection (2) or (3), does not commence under subsection (1) within the
period of 6 months beginning on the day on which this Act receives the Royal
Assent, it commences on the first day after the end of that period.
