DEFENCE TRADE CONTROLS ACT 2012 (NO. 153, 2012) - SECT 48

             (1)  The occupier of premises entered under section 41, or another person who apparently represents the occupier, must provide:

                     (a)  an authorised officer exercising monitoring powers; and

                     (b)  any person assisting the authorised officer;

with all reasonable facilities and assistance for the effective exercise of their powers.

             (2)  A person commits an offence if:

                     (a)  the person is subject to subsection (1); and

                     (b)  the person fails to comply with that subsection.

Penalty for contravention of this subsection:        30 penalty units.

Note:          Section 14.1 of the Criminal Code (standard geographical jurisdiction) applies to an offence against subsection (2).
