DEFENCE SERVICE HOMES ACT 1974 No. 125 of 1974 - SECT 18

18. (1) Section 51 of the Principal Act is amended by adding at the end
thereof the words "and, in particular, making provision for, and in relation
to, the manner in which an amount, or a part of an amount, paid to the
Director by or on behalf of a purchaser or borrower is to be applied for the
purpose of satisfying any liability of the purchaser or borrower under the
contract of sale or advance or otherwise under this Act".

(2) The amendment made by sub-section (1) does not affect regulations made
under the War Service Homes Act 1918 or under that Act as amended at any time
before the commencement of this section, and any such regulation shall be
deemed to have been as validly made as if that amendment had been in force
when that regulation was made.
