DARWIN RECONSTRUCTION ACT 1975 No. 2 of 1975 - SECT 29

29. (1) There shall be a General Manager of the Commission who shall be
appointed by the Governor-General.

(2) The General Manager shall be the executive member of the Commission and
shall, subject to and in accordance with the directions of the Commission,
conduct the affairs of the Commission.

(3) The General Manager holds office on such terms and conditions (if any), in
respect of matters not provided for by this Act, as are determined by the
Governor-General.
