DEFENCE LEGISLATION AMENDMENT ACT (No. 2) 1988 No. 104 of 1988 - SECT 31

31. Section 127 of the Principal Act is amended by adding at the end the
following subsection:

"(2) Subsection (1) does not apply to an eligible member of the Defence Force
who:

   (a)  was a recipient member immediately before he or she became an eligible
        member; and

   (b)  is serving an appointment or enlistment for a period of less than one
        year that commenced after the commencement of this subsection.".
