  1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Dairying Industry Research and Promotion
Levy Amendment Act 1986.
  (2) The Dairying Industry Research and Promotion Levy Act 1972*1* is in this
Act referred to as the Principal Act.

Commencement

  2. This Act shall come into operation on the day on which it receives the
Royal Assent.

Amount of levy on whole milk

  3. Section 7 of the Principal Act is amended by omitting from paragraph (a)
"1.2 cents" and substituting "10 cents".

Amount of levy on butter fat

  4. Section 11 of the Principal Act is amended by omitting from paragraph (a)
"30 cents" and substituting "$2.50".
