DEFENCE FORCE RETIREMENT AND DEATH BENEFITS (PENSION INCREASES) ACT 1976 No. 34 of 1976 - SECT 2

2. (1) Subject to sub-sections (2) and (3), this Act shall come into operation
on the day on which it receives the Royal Assent.*1*

(2) Part II, other than section 16, shall be deemed to have come into
operation on 1 July 1973.

(3) Part III shall be deemed to have come into operation on 1 July 1975.
