DEFENCE FORCE RETIREMENT AND DEATH BENEFITS ACT 1973 No. 81 of 1973 - SECT 119
Protection of members of Tribunals, representatives and witnesses.
119. (1) A member of the Review Tribunal has, in the performance of the duties
of his office, the same protection and immunity as a Justice of the High
Court.
(2) A person appearing before a Review Tribunal on behalf of a party has the
same protection and immunity as a barrister has in appearing for a party in
proceedings in the High Court.
(3) Subject to this Act, a person appearing before a Review Tribunal as a
witness has the same protection, and is, in addition to the penalties provided
by this Act, subject to the same liabilities, as a witness in proceedings in
the High Court.
