DEVELOPMENT ALLOWANCE AUTHORITY AMENDMENT ACT 1993 No. 2 of 1994 - SECT 7

7. Section 40 of the Principal Act is amended by omitting paragraph (c) and
substituting the following paragraph:

"(c) if:

        (i)    no substantial commitment to the completion of the project has
               occurred before 1 January 1993; or

        (ii)   the expenditure:

                (A)  passes the basic eligibility test only because the motor
                     vehicle industry and motor vehicle industry activities
                     are excluded from subparagraph 15(b)(vi); or

                (B)  is attributable to an eligible print media installation;
                     it is reasonably likely that the expenditure will pass
                     the competitiveness test; and".
