Defence Acts Amendment Act 1981 No. 178 of 1981 - SECT 18

18. (1) Notwithstanding the repeal of Parts III and IV of the Defence 
(Visiting Forces) Act 1963 by this Act, appointments, authorizations,
declarations, delegations, designations, orders, regulations, requests and
warrants in force at the commencement of this Part under or for the purposes
of provisions of that Act so repealed continue in force as if made under or
for the purposes of the corresponding provisions of the Defence Act 1903 as
amended by this Act.

(2) Where, at the commencement of this Part, a person was in custody under
section 20 of the Defence (Visiting Forces) Act 1963, that Act continues to
apply to him, in relation to that custody, as if Part III of that Act had not
been repealed.
