CHILD SUPPORT LEGISLATION AMENDMENT ACT 1995 No. 39 of 1995 - SECT 19

19. Section 111 of the Principal Act is amended by inserting after subsection
(1):

"(1A) For the purposes of subsection (1), if:

   (a)  on a particular day (the 'application day'), the payer of a registered
        maintenance liability makes an application under subsection 37B(2);
        and

   (b)  as a result of that application, there is a low-income non-enforcement
        period in relation to the liability for the purposes of section 37B;
        the liability is taken to be an enforceable maintenance liability
        throughout so much of the period as occurs on or after the application
        day.".
