CHILDCARE REBATE ACT 1993 No. 112 of 1993 - SECT 31

31. A person has recognised study commitments if the person:

   (a)  receives assistance under the Student Assistance Act 1973 by way of a
        benefit under the AUSTUDY scheme; or

   (b)  receives assistance under the scheme administered by the Department of
        Employment, Education and Training and known as the ABSTUDY scheme; or

   (c)  is enrolled in an Adult Migrant English Program administered by the
        Department of Immigration and Ethnic Affairs; or

   (d)  is undertaking any other course of education for the purpose of
        improving his or her work skills and/or employment prospects.
