CRIMES LEGISLATION AMENDMENT ACT 1987 No. 120 of 1987 - SECT 6

6. Section 12 of the Principal Act is amended:

   (a)  by omitting "The" and substituting "Except as provided in this Part,
        the"; and

   (b)  by adding at the end the following subsection:

"(2) The trial on indictment of an offence against a law in force in the
Territory shall be by judge and jury.".
