CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY REFORM AND DEVELOPMENT ACT 1992 No. 33 of 1992 - SECT 40

40.(1) The Minister may terminate the appointment of the Chief Executive
Officer for misbehaviour or physical or mental incapacity.

(2) The Minister must terminate the appointment of the Chief Executive Officer
if the Chief Executive Officer:

   (a)  becomes bankrupt, applies to take the benefit of any law for the
        relief of bankrupt or insolvent debtors, compounds with his or her
        creditors or makes an assignment of his or her remuneration for their
        benefit; or

   (b)  is absent from duty for 14 consecutive days, or for 28 days in any 12
        months, except on leave granted under section 38; or

   (c)  engages, except with the approval of the Minister, in paid employment
        outside the Chief Executive Officer's duties; or

   (d)  without reasonable excuse, fails to comply with section 27 or 41.
