CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY REFORM AND DEVELOPMENT ACT 1992 No. 33 of 1992 - SECT 33

33.(1) The Minister may terminate the appointment of a Board member (other
than the Chief Executive Officer) for misbehaviour or physical or mental
incapacity.

(2) The Minister must terminate the appointment of a Board member (other than
the Chief Executive Officer) if the member:

   (a)  becomes bankrupt, applies to take the benefit of any law for the
        relief of bankrupt or insolvent debtors, compounds with his or her
        creditors or makes an assignment of his or her remuneration for their
        benefit; or

   (b)  is absent from 3 consecutive meetings of the Board, except on leave
        granted by the Chairperson of the Board; or

   (c)  without reasonable excuse, fails to comply with section 27.

(3) A Board member (other than the Chief Executive Officer) may resign by
giving a signed notice of resignation to the Minister.
