CHRISTMAS ISLAND ADMINISTRATION (MISCELLANEOUS AMENDMENTS) ACT 1984 No. 120 of 1984 - SECT 26

26. Section 3 of the Principal Act is amended-
(a) by inserting after the definition of "Assistant Returning Officer" in
sub-section (1) the following definition:



" 'Australia' includes the Territory of Cocos (Keeling) Islands and the
Territory of Christmas Island;";

   (b)  by adding at the end of the definition of "Northern Territory" in
        sub-section (1) "and the Territory of Christmas Island"; and

   (c)  by adding at the end of sub-section (3) "and to the Territory of
        Christmas Island".
