COMMONWEALTH FUNCTIONS (STATUTES REVIEW) ACT 1981 No. 74 of 1981 - SECT 17

17. Where, at the expiration of the day immediately preceding the commencing
day, the repealed Officers' Rights Declaration Act 1928 applied in relation to
a person who was at that time a member or employee of the Authority, that Act
continues, on and after the commencing day, by force of this section, to apply
in relation to that person as if the Ordinances referred to in section 14 had
not been repealed but that person had on the first-mentioned day resigned his
office, or resigned from his employment with the Authority, as the case may
be.
