COMPLAINTS (AUSTRALIAN FEDERAL POLICE) ACT 1981 No. 21 of 1981 - SECT 45

45. Civil proceedings do not lie against a person in respect of loss, damage
or injury of any kind suffered by another person by reason of -

   (a)  the making of a complaint to the Ombudsman under this Part; or

   (b)  the making of a statement to, or the furnishing of a document
        (including a report furnished under sub-section 10 (1)) or information
        to, a person (being an officer within the meaning of section 41) for
        the purposes of this Part.
