COMPLAINTS (AUSTRALIAN FEDERAL POLICE) ACT 1981 No. 21 of 1981 - SECT 39

39. (1) Subject to section 41, neither the Ombudsman nor a person acting under
his direction or authority is liable to an action, suit or proceeding for or
in relation to an act done or omitted to be done in good faith in exercise or
purported exercise of any power or authority conferred by this Act.

(2) A reference in this section to the Ombudsman includes a reference to a
Deputy Ombudsman.
