CANNED FRUITS MARKETING ACT 1979 No. 160 of 1979 - SECT 27

27. (1) The Minister may terminate the appointment of a member by reason of
the misbehaviour, or the physical or mental incapacity, of the member.

(2) If a member-

   (a)  becomes bankrupt, applies to take the benefit of any law for the
        relief of bankrupt or insolvent debtors, compounds with his creditors
        or makes an assignment of his remuneration for their benefit;

   (b)  fails to comply with his obligations under section 28; or

   (c)  not being the member representing the Commonwealth, is absent, without
        the prior consent of the Corporation, from 3 consecutive meetings of
        the Corporation otherwise than on business of the Corporation
        undertaken with the approval of the Corporation, the Minister shall
        terminate the appointment of the member.
