CANNED FRUITS MARKETING ACT 1979 No. 160 of 1979 - SECT 23

23. (1) Subject to this section, a member shall be appointed for a period of 3
years, but is eligible for re-appointment.

(2) The member referred to in paragraph 22 (1) (d) holds office during the
pleasure of the Minister.

(3) If a member ceases to hold office before the expiration of the period of
his appointment, another person may, in accordance with section 22, be
appointed in his place until the expiration of the period.

(4) The term of office of a member shall not commence before 1 January 1980.
