COUNCIL FOR ABORIGINAL RECONCILIATION ACT 1991 No. 127 of 1991 - SECT 7

7. (1) The Council has power to do all things that are necessary or convenient
to be done for or in connection with the performance of its functions.

(2) The powers of the Council under subsection (1) include, but are not
limited to, the following powers:

   (a)  to invite submissions;

   (b)  to hold inquiries;

   (c)  to organise conferences;

   (d)  to undertake research and statistical surveys;

   (e)  to organise public education activities.

(3) The Council does not have power to enter into contracts.
