Commonwealth Electoral Legislation Amendment Act 1984 No. 45 of 1984 - SECT 8

8. Where this Act-

   (a)  amends a provision of an Act; or

   (b)  repeals and re-enacts (with or without modifications) a provision of
        an Act, any act done or decision made under or pursuant to the
        provision amended or repealed has effect after the amendment or repeal
        as if it had been done or made under or pursuant to the provision as
        so amended or re-enacted.
