CONSTITUTIONAL CONVENTION (ELECTION) ACT 1997 No. 128 of 1997 - SECT 14

(1) The Minister must, by written notice, fix the dates for the following in
relation to the elections:

   (a)  the close of the *Rolls;

   (b)  the nominations;

   (c)  the *closing day of the poll;

   (d)  the notification of the election results.

(2) The Minister must cause a copy of the notice to be published in the
Gazette before the first of the days fixed under subsection (1).

(3) A failure by the Minister to comply with this section does not invalidate
the fixing of the dates.
