PART V-INSTRUMENTS UNDER RELEVANT ACTS

40. (1) This Act applies to and in relation to an instrument (including
regulations, rules and by-laws) made, granted or issued under a relevant Act
as if the instrument were a relevant Act and as if each regulation, rule or
by- law were a section of a relevant Act.

(2) Unless the contrary intention appears, expressions used in such an
instrument have the same meanings as in the relevant Act under which the
instrument was made, granted or issued.
