Commonwealth Numbered Acts

COMPANIES AND SECURITIES (INTERPRETATION AND MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS) ACT 1980 No. 68 of 1980 - SECT 3

3. (1) For the purposes of this Act, each of the following Acts is a relevant
Act:

   (a)  this Act;

   (b)  the National Companies and Securities Commission Act 1979;

   (c)  the Companies (Acquisition of Shares) Act 1980;

   (d)  the Companies (Acquisition of Shares-Fees) Act 1980;

   (e)  any Act that contains a relevant application provision;

   (f)  any Act amending this Act or amending an Act referred to in paragraph
        (b), (c), (d) or (e).

(2) For the purposes of paragraph (1) (e), a provision in an Act is a relevant
application provision if the provision states that this Act applies to the Act
concerned.
