Customs and Excise Amendment Act 1982 No. 81 of 1982 - SECT 39

39. Section 183CA of the Principal Act is amended-

   (a)  by inserting after paragraph (1) (c) the following paragraph:

''(ca) where the application is made by a natural person-specify the person or
each person (if any) who, if the licence is granted, is to be a nominee of the
applicant;''; and

   (b)  by omitting sub-section (2) and substituting the following
        sub-section:

''(2) Where a person makes an application, he shall not propose a person as
his nominee at a place unless, at the time the application is made, that
person is eligible, or intends to take all necessary action to ensure that, if
an agents licence is granted to the applicant, he will be eligible, to be a
nominee of the applicant at that place.''.
