COMPANIES ACT 1981 No. 89 of 1981 - SECT 50

Reservation of proposed new name of recognized foreign company

50. Where-

   (a)  a name has been reserved in respect of a recognized foreign company
        under the provision of a law of a participating State or participating
        Territory that corresponds with sub-section 49 (2); and

   (b)  the application for the reservation of that name states that the
        present name of the recognized foreign company is registered in the
        Territory, the Commission shall reserve the name referred to in
        paragraph (a) in the Territory and, where the name is so reserved, the
        reservation remains in force until the name ceases to be reserved, or
        until the reservation of the name is cancelled by the Commission,
        under the provisions of the law of that State or Territory that
        corresponds with section 49.
