COMPANIES ACT 1981 No. 89 of 1981 - SECT 419

Liquidators to enjoy qualified privilege in certain circumstances

419. (1) A liquidator is not, in the absence of malice on his part, liable to
any action for defamation at the suit of any person in respect of any
statement that he makes in the course of his duties as liquidator, whether the
statement is made orally or in writing.

(2) This section does not limit or affect any other right, privilege or
immunity that a liquidator or other person has as defendant in an action for
defamation.
