BROADCASTING SERVICES ACT 1992 No. 110 of 1992 - SECT 25

Preparation of frequency allotment plans
25.(1) Where the Minister has, under the Radiocommunications Act 1983,
assigned a part of the radiofrequency spectrum to the ABA for planning, the
ABA must prepare in writing a frequency allotment plan that determines the
number of channels that are to be available in particular areas of Australia
to provide broadcasting services using that part of the radiofrequency
spectrum.

(2) The ABA may, by notice in writing, vary a frequency allotment plan.

(3) In preparing or varying a frequency allotment plan, the ABA must comply
with any directions, whether of a general or specific nature, given to the ABA
in writing by the Minister.
