BROADCASTING SERVICES ACT 1992 No. 110 of 1992 - SECT 149

Investigation of complaints by the ABA
149.(1) Subject to subsection (2), the ABA must investigate the complaint.

(2) The ABA need not investigate the complaint if it is satisfied that:

   (a)  the complaint is frivolous or vexatious or was not made in good faith;
        or

   (b)  in the case of a complaint referred to in section 147 - the complaint
        does not relate to:

        (i)    an offence against this Act or the regulations; or

        (ii)   a breach of a condition of a licence.

(3) The ABA must notify the complainant of the results of such an
investigation.
