Biological Control Act 1984 No. 139 of 1984 - SECT 9
Relevant State laws
9. Where a law of a State-
(a) provides for the control by biological means of organisms causing harm
in the State;
(b) establishes an authority having similar powers and functions to those
of the Authority; and
(c) contains provisions by virtue of which the authority so established
and the Authority are constituted at all times by the same person, the
Authority may, by notice published in the Gazette, declare that law to
be a relevant State law for the purposes of this Act.
