AUSTRALIAN WOOL RESEARCH AND PROMOTION ORGANISATION ACT 1993 No. 63 of 1993 - SECT 3

3. (1) The object of this Act is to improve the performance of the Australian
wool industry by improving the means of funding and administering wool
promotion and research and development relating to wool and the wool industry.

(2) That objective is to be achieved, principally, by bringing together in one
organisation responsibility for promotion and responsibility for research
and development, thus enabling better co-ordination of activities and more
efficient use of resources.
