AUSTRALIAN WOOL INDUSTRY COUNCIL ACT 1991 No. 97 of 1991 - SECT 3

3. The object of this Act is to provide for the establishment of an industry
council for the wool industry in order to facilitate the development by the
Commonwealth Government of sound, consistent and comprehensive policies
concerning the wool industry, through the active and co-ordinated involvement
of that industry in the process of policy formulation.
