ALBURY WODONGA DEVELOPMENT ACT 1973 No. 189 of 1973 - SECT 34

34. (1) The Governor-General may make regulations, not inconsistent with this
Act, prescribing all matters required or permitted by this Act to be
prescribed, or necessary or convenient to be prescribed for carrying out or
giving effect to this Act.

(2) Without limiting sub-section (1), the Governor-General may make
regulations, in accordance with the Agreement, for the purposes of the
election of persons to be appointed to be part-time members.

(3) The Governor-General shall not make regulations referred to in sub-section
(2) or regulations for the purpose of paragraph 11 (1) (c) unless the
Ministerial Council has recommended to the Australian Minister that they be so
made.
