AVIATION TRANSPORT SECURITY ACT 2004 No. 8, 2004 - SECT 8
Act not to apply to state aircraft etc.
- (1)
- Unless the contrary intention appears, this Act does not apply to, or in
relation to:
- (a)
- a state aircraft; or
- (b)
- an aircraft that is leased to or chartered by, or is otherwise under the
operational control of, the Australian Defence Force.
- (2)
- A reference in this Act to an aviation industry participant does not
include a reference to:
- (a)
- the Australian Defence Force; or
- (b)
- the Australian Federal Police; or
- (c)
- the Australian Protective Service; or
- (d)
- the police force of a State or Territory; or
- (e)
- an Agency of the Commonwealth prescribed in the regulations.
