- (1)
- A person commits an offence if:
- (a)
- a special security direction is given to the person; and
- (b)
- the direction is in force; and
- (c)
- the person fails to comply with confidentiality requirements in the
direction; and
- (d)
- the failure is not due to a disclosure made to a court or a tribunal, or
to an authority or person that has the power to require the production of
documents or the answering of questions.
Penalty: 20 penalty units.

- Subsection (1) is an offence of strict
liability.
