AUSTRALIAN SECURITY INTELLIGENCE ORGANIZATION AMENDMENT ACT 1986 No. 122 of 1986 - SECT 4

4. Section 5 of the Principal Act is repealed and the following sections are
substituted: Extension of Act to external Territories

"5. This Act extends to every external Territory. Copies of certain notices to
be given to Inspector-General

"5A. Where the Minister gives a notice in writing to the Director-General
for the purposes of sub-paragraph (d) (ii) of the definition of "politically
motivated violence" in section 4, the Minister shall give a copy of the notice
to the Inspector-General of Intelligence and Security.".
