AUSTRALIAN SECURITY INTELLIGENCE ORGANIZATION AMENDMENT ACT 1979 No. 182 of 1979 - SECT 3

3. Section 18 of the Australian Security Intelligence Organization Act 19792
is amended-

(a) by omitting from paragraph (a) of sub-section (3) ''of the Commonwealth
Police Force'' and substituting ''to a member or special member of the
Australian Federal Police''; and

   (b)  by omitting from paragraph (b) of sub-section (3) ''a person who is an
        officer of Customs for the purposes of the Customs Act 1901'' and
        substituting ''a member or special member of the Australian Federal
        Police for the purposes of investigations into the offence''.
