AUSTRALIAN SECURITY INTELLIGENCE ORGANIZATION ACT 1979 No. 113 of 1979 - SECT 85

85. (1) The designations of officers in the Organization, other than the
office of Director-General, and the salaries or salary ranges applicable to
those offices, shall be such as are determined from time to time by the
Chairman of the Public Service Board, the Secretary to the Attorney-General's
Department and the Director-General.

(2) The designations of offices in the Organization immediately before the
date of commencement of this Act, and the salaries or salary ranges applicable
to those offices immediately before that date, shall be deemed to have been
determined under sub-section (1).
