AUSTRALIAN SECURITY INTELLIGENCE ORGANIZATION ACT 1979 No. 113 of 1979 - SECT 69

Incriminating answers
69. (1) A person appearing as a witness before the Tribunal is not excused
from answering a question, or producing a document, on the ground that the
answer to the question, or the document, may tend to incriminate him.

(2) Evidence of the answer given by a person to a question in evidence before
the Tribunal is not admissible against him in any civil or criminal
proceedings other than proceedings in respect of falsity of the answer or
contempt of the Tribunal.
