AUSTRALIAN SECURITY INTELLIGENCE ORGANIZATION ACT 1979 No. 113 of 1979 - SECT 42

42. (1) A person shall not be appointed as a presidential member unless he is
or has been a Judge of a court created by the Parliament or of a court of a
State.

(2) A person who is, or has been, the Director-General or an officer, employee
or agent of the Organization shall not be appointed as a member of the
Tribunal.
