AUSTRALIAN SECURITY INTELLIGENCE ORGANIZATION ACT 1979 No. 113 of 1979 - SECT 31

31. Where, by virtue of a warrant under this Division, any record or copy has
been made and the Director-General is satisfied that that record or copy is
not required for the purposes of the performance of functions or exercise of
powers under this Act, the Director-General shall cause the record or copy to
be destroyed.
