AUSTRALIAN SECURITY INTELLIGENCE ORGANIZATION ACT 1979 No. 113 of 1979 - SECT 30

Discontinuance of action before expiration of warrant

30. Where, before a warrant under this Division ceases to be in force, the
Director-General is satisfied that the grounds on which the warrant was issued
have ceased to exist, he shall forthwith inform the Minister accordingly and
take such steps as are necessary to ensure that action in pursuance of the
warrant (other than the recovery of a listening device) is discontinued.
