AUSTRALIAN SECURITIES COMMISSION ACT 1989 No. 90 of 1989 - SECT 8

8. The Commission:

   (a)  is a body corporate, with perpetual succession;

   (b)  shall have a common seal;

   (c)  may acquire, hold and dispose of real and personal property; and

   (d)  may sue and be sued in its corporate name.
