AUSTRALIAN SECURITIES COMMISSION ACT 1989 No. 90 of 1989 - SECT 29

29. (1) A book that a national scheme law requires a person to keep shall be
open for inspection (without charge) by a person authorised in writing by the
Commission.

(2) A person authorised under this section may require a person in whose
possession the book is to make the book available for inspection by the
first-mentioned person.

(3) An authorisation under this section may be of general application or may
be limited by reference to the books to be inspected.
